Meet the Smartest People in the Region: Your New Workforce

If you’re looking to fill your office with the smartest people in the region look no further Denver South is also home to a highly educated workforce:

  • 98% of the population 25 years and older has a high school degree or higher
  • 62% of the population has a bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 23% of the Denver South population holds graduate or higher level degrees.

K-12 Education 

Denver South takes great pride being the home to educational pioneers in Cherry Creek School District, the Douglas County School District and the Littleton School District. This trio alone attracts companies and employees with ambitions to be near respected educational systems. The Douglas County School District, Littleton Public Schools, and Cherry Creek School District have among the highest high school graduation rates of the 19 school districts in the Denver Metro Area, ranking second, third and fifth respectively.

Higher Education 

Denver South is home to three universities, the Univesity of Colorado South Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver South Campus, and the Regis University Denver Tech Center Campus. Other nationally ranked universities are just a short drive away including the University of Denver, University of Colorado and Anschutz Medical Campus and the Colorado School of Mines.

Several community colleges serve businesses and residents of the Denver South region including Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Community College of Aurora, and Community College of Denver.
