The company provides hospitals and homecare facilities with innovative drug delivery systems. Cochlear Americas, world leader in advanced hearing solutions, is headquartered in Centennial.
Rocky Vista University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, welcomed their first 150 students in August 2008. The University is located in Parker and adds another strong component to the growing healthcare and health services industry in South Metro Denver.
The Metro Denver region ranks seventh among the top 50 metro areas for 2007 in employment concentration in medical devices and 23rd for pharmaceutical and biotechnology employment.
